Ah OK, sorry. I'm running 3.6.3, Clone Window 0.2.9.
Add-ons, the latest versions of:
Adblock Plus, Better Gmail 2, British English Dictionary, ColorZilla, Download Statusbar, FEBE, Firebug, Firefox PDF Plugin, IE NetRenderer, Integrated Gmail, Web Developer, Webmail Notifier, Webmail Compose and YSlow.
What happens is that sometimes when I go into Private Browsing mode, and almost invariably when I come out of it, Firefox hangs for a couple of seconds then crashes, bringing up the usual Crash Reporter screen. When I relaunch I'm not in Private Browsing mode and the tabs I had open before I went into it come up after I tell Firefox to reload them when it asks. When I load Firefox fresh it usually goes into PBM without problem.
@Greg
Hmm, I'll try to investigate this sometime this week (or next week if not). I'll need some crash logs from you too, you can get these by typing about:crashes into the location bar and pressing enter, you should get a list of crash IDs with dates next to them. please provide the crash IDs that correspond to this particular problem. Thanks.

Here's the latest one...

@Greg
It looks like the crash is 99% Mac only (http://snurl.com/viio2), unfortunately I don't have a Mac myself so I'm not sure there's much I can do.
For what it's worth Clone Window is purely interpreted code which means that it can't directly cause a crash, however it can trigger bugs in Firefox itself or in binary add-ons. Looking at the list of crashes and what extensions each "victim" had installed it seems that there is no single culprit (so far I have yet to find anyone else on the list that has Clone Window installed) and there are some that don't have any extensions installed. So I don't think any one extension is to blame, rather it is probably a Firefox bug that various extensions inadvertently trigger. I was hoping to figure out a way to work around the crash but without being able to replicate it on my PC I don't think that will be possible.
I'm really sorry that I can't be more helpful, I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for.
Hey, no worries. It's not a major problem, I don't have that much to hide :)
rock on!!
i have been looking for this solution for 2 weeks.
nice work!!

@Greg
I'll need more information to work with than that. What version of Firefox? What version of Clone Window? What other add-ons do you have installed? What precisely do you mean by "Private Browsing Mode crash"?
